Durham County Carers offer a variety of support to carers in our area.

 Right now they are offering: 

• Carer Registration: A single, simple referral route via our website, phone line or email. We make every effort to ensure the Carer is welcomed and given a first check-in so we can match support to their needs.
• Practical Advice & Guidance: From benefits and grants to hospital discharge, housing and navigating care systems.
• Health & Wellbeing: Carers can access breaks options, local peer groups, and counselling support for their emotional wellbeing.
• Carers in Work: Practical help for working carers and their employers.

 Household Support Fund – Round 7

We’re very grateful to be delivering round 7 of Household Support Fund up to March 2026. This is there to help carers facing financial hardship with essentials like food, energy, and household costs.
