Order Your Repeat Medication Early for the August Bank Holiday

With the August Bank Holiday approaching, we encourage all patients who need repeat medication to order it in plenty of time.

Bank Holiday weekends can affect pharmacy opening hours and prescription processing times. Ordering your medication early will help ensure you have everything you need before the long weekend and avoid any unnecessary delays.

Please remember to:

  • Check your medication supplies now.
  • Request your repeat prescription well in advance of the Bank Holiday.
  • Allow enough time for your prescription to be processed and dispensed by ourselves or your chosen pharmacy.
  • Collect your medication before the Bank Holiday weekend.

If you usually order your prescriptions online, please submit your request as early as possible. If you order through your GP practice or pharmacy, please be aware that services may be busier than usual.

Planning ahead will help ensure you have enough medication to last throughout the Bank Holiday period. Please see attached a guidance on ordering and collection timelines.
